The ‘#1 two-wheeler manufacturer’ #HeroMotocorp, in one arbitrary stroke, terminated the jobs of over 1000 contract workers in November, who were working in permanent nature of jobs for last 5-10 years, supposedly due to #demonetisation. Despite it being very difficult for precarious contract workers to sustain a long-term struggle, the over 1000 contract workers of #HeroMotocorp have organized themselves into ‘HeroMotocorp Theka Mazdoor Sangharsh Samiti’, and are resolutely fighting the good fight . .

Join their indefinite demonstration and hunger strike from tomorrow 11am, Gurgaon DC Office. .
Reinstate all terminated workers, End the Contract System!

    Termination of workers from their jobs in industries may rise in future due to demonetized effect. Many workers of unorganised sector lost their jobs and livelihood. The registered mainstream trade unions must take up the issue and fight for these suspended and terminated workers and ensure compensation from employers and business owners who look for their own profits leaving workers in the lurch
